U.S. Memorial Day: Which Assets Will Be Affected

The year would not be complete without some trading schedule shifts. 2020 is no exception, 25/5/20 is a day that impacts twelve different assets. Different markets and assets react to holidays in various ways, some close earlier than normal, or simply remain closed for the whole day.

As this day is Memorial Day in the U.S.: a day to commemorate, honor, and mourn the military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces, most American assets will be affected. Below is the full list of instruments that will be impacted on this holiday.

Interestingly enough, the first assets to close early on 25/5 is not from the U.S., but Hong Kong. The Hang Seng Index (HSI) will close at 08:30 GMT.

All assets will return to their normal trading schedules on 26/5.
