Hong Kong protesters re-engage in clashes with police

The head of Hong Kong, Carrie Lam, arrived in the capital of China. А meeting with Vice Premier Li Keqiang and Head of State Xi Jinping was on Lam’s agenda.

After the meeting, Li Keqiang said that Hong Kong has not yet come out of the economic difficulties caused by months of protests. Xi Jinping, in turn, recognized Lam’s courage for running the city in “exceptional times.”

The market expects that the head of Hong Kong will receive instructions to make rearrangements in the city’s cabinet of ministers.
